Robert Lewandowski scores a brace in Barcelona’s 4-1 win over Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena in the La Liga on Sunday evening.
Barcelona was quick to open the lead with a first-minute goal thanks to a brilliant assist from Alejandro Balde to Robert Lewandowski but a quick response from Real Sociedad following a loose ball from Frenkie de Jong led to a quick counter which took a wicked deflection to Alexander Isak who lobbed the ball over Marc-Andre ter Stegen to make it 1-1 in the opening six minutes of the match.
Real Sociedad forced ter Stegen to an incredible save but he was equal to the task in the 26th minute of the clash, the first half ended in a stalemate.
Real Sociedad was the first to have a clear-cut chance but ter Stegen was up to the task to sense the danger posed by Mikel Merino.
Ousmane Dembele fired a shot to the far post thanks a backheel from Ansu Fati in the 66th minute of the clash, to make it 2-0.
Lewandowski was at the right place to tap in the ball from close range after smart teamwork from Barcelona attackers to make it 3-1.
Ansu Fati made it 4-1 after a flick from Lewandowski in the 79th minute of the clash.
