Real Madrid is set to overlook a move for Kylian Mbappe and look elsewhere for recruitment following the last-minute ditch from the French star in the just concluded summer transfer.
The report from Spain claimed that Real Madrid is not ready to revisit their long-standing transfer interest in the French star, the Bernabeu hierarchy has been in the race to sign Mbappe since his time at AS Monaco before he made a switch to Paris Saint-Germain in 2018.
Mbappe was on the verge of joining Real Madrid but he made a U-turn and opted for a contract renewal at Paris Saint-Germain until 2015 an action that disappointed the Real Madrid hierarchy.
However, if Mbappe again hints at his interest in leaving, PSG will aim to avoid the potential of losing him on a free transfer at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
According to reports from Marca, Paris Saint-Germain is preparing for the possibility of selling Mbappe in 2024, if he does not intend to sign another extension.
A situation Real Madrid wants to distance themselves from, the Champions League winner wants to focus elsewhere for recruitment due to their insistence on not altering their position on the previous deal offered to Mbappe.
Real Madrid had youngsters that are capable of leading the team in the nearest future with the likes of Vinicius, Rodrygo Goes, Eduardo Caamavinga, Dani Ceballos, Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde.
