AC Milan was held by Salzburg to a 1-1 draw at the Red Bull Arena on Tuesday evening in the Champions League, Noah Okafor’s goal was cancelled out by Alexis Saelemaekers before the end of the first half.

AC Milan dominated the possession but Salzburg remained a threat in the attack
Salzburg was rewarded with their persistent threat on goal from a perfect strike from  Okafor in the 28th minute as the Italian Champions were made to chase the game.

 AC Milan equalised with just five minutes to go in the first half with  Saelemaekers strike thanks to an assist from Rafael Leao to make it 1-1 before halftime.

AC Milan had a better ball possession rating with 68% compared to Salzburg’s 32% but the home team had 11 shots on goal with one shot on goal, while AC Milan had two shots on goal.

AC Milan will be away to Sampdoria in the Serie A while the Italian Champions will welcome Dinamo Zagreb in their next game in the Champions League.

Salzburg will be away to Ried in the domestic scene this weekend while they will take a trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea in their next game.
