Manchester City attacker Erling Haaland scored a brace in the 4-0 win against Sevilla in the Champions League on Tuesday, with Phil Folden and Ruben Diaz also on the score sheet.

Manchester City broke the deadlock in the 20th minute following an assist from Kevin de Bruyne to Erling Haaland to register the first goal of the evening.
Foden scored in the 58th minute to make it 2-0 and in the 67th minute, Haaland scored the third of the night and grabbed a brace for himself.

Papu Gomez had a decent opportunity to equalise for Sevilla but the Argentine attacker blasted the chance, Manchester City remained the best team of the evening with 60% ball possession compared to 4O% ball possession earned by Sevilla, the visitors had nine goal attempts and two shots on goal while Sevilla never registered a shot on goal in the entire 45 minutes of the game.

Haaland pounced on a rebound to get the third goal for Manchester City following a shot that was saved from Phil Folden in the 63rd minute of the match.
Manchester City made it 4-0 with Ruben Diaz scoring the last goal in the additional time.

Sevilla will be away to Espanyol this weekend in the La Liga and will also travel to Denmark to face Copenhagen in the Champions League.

 

Manchester City will host Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this weekend while their next opponent in the Champions League will a home game against Borussia Dortmund
