Super Eagles hopeful Victor Boniface netted the winner as Royale Union Saint-Gilloise beat Malmo in a five-goal thriller in their UEFA Europa League encounter at Stade Joseph Marien on Thursday night.
Joseph Ceesay opened the scoring for the Swedish outfit six minutes into the game but the Belgium club leveled the score through Christian Burgess 11 minutes later.
Malmo took the lead shortly before the hour-mark when Felix Beijmo’s cut-back was clinically dispatched into the bottom-right corner by Isaac Kiese Thelin.
Teuma’s incredible long-range goal gave Union Saint-Gilloise an equaliser with less than 25 minutes left in the game as they desperately sought a way to get back into the game.
