Super Eagles striker Peter Olayinka has extended his Slavia Prague’s goalscoring record in Europe after finding the back of the net in their 3-2 victory over Ballkani n the Europa Conference League at Fortuna Arena on Thursday night.
The 26-year-old Nigeria international has twelve European goals to his name against Sivasspor last week and no player has scored more in the history of the club.
Ballkani took a shock lead in the 23rd minute through Ermal Krasniqi before Stivi Frasheri scores his own goal to level parity.
However, the away team took the lead again three minutes later but Olayinka who was making his second appearance in the competition equalise for the home side after hr bang in his 13th European goal and one which put him in a comfortable position on Slavia’s all-time European scorer’s list.
Lukas Masopust ensures the maximum point for The red and whites thanks to an assist from Super Eagles forward Olayinka.
Also in Slavia’s win, Nigerian midfielder Moses Usor featured in the second half and impressed as he completed 79% of his 48 passes.
The Czech champions are now top of Group G with four points from two matches, same as Turkish club Sivasspor.
