Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq powers Almeria to a historic win after coming from behind to beat Sevilla in the La Liga encounter at the Power Horse Stadium.
The Nigeria international became a target for top clubs in Spain from Villarreal, Sevilla, and Getafe after finding the back of the nets 18 times in 36 games in all competitions for the newly promoted side for last season in Segunda Division.
Sadiq opened his La Liga account against Elche last week when Almeria picked their first points of the season.
Oliver Torres put Sevilla upfront at the half-hour mark before Largie Ramazani equalized for Almeria three minutes to the end of the first half.
Sadiq ensures the historical win for Almeria 10 minutes into the second half as the home side claims their first three points since returning to the top-flight after the final whistle.
The Super Eagles striker has now scored in back-to-back league games and is his second of the new campaign.
