Super Falcons star Peace Efih has reacted after joining Sporting Braga on a two-year deal with a 12-month extension option. 

The 22-year-old Nigeria international linked up with a Portuguese side from Israeli champions Maccabi Kiryat Gat after scoring 14 goals in 28 appearances and helped the club to a domestic double.

Sporting Braga confirmed the news of signing Efih via their official website and social media with a statement that said: “Peace Efih reinforces the senior women’s team.

“The Nigerian international, only 22 years old, is yet another attacking option for coach Gonçalo Nunes.

“Peace Efih arrives from Kiryat Gat (Israel) and also has stints at Zaragoza CFF (Spain), Sporting de Huelva (Spain), Edo Queens (Nigeria), and River Angels (Nigeria).

“The forward was present in the last edition of the Women’s CAN with Nigeria, having scored a goal against Burundi.

The Super Falcons midfielder took to her Twitter handle with joy and happiness as reacted after joining Sporting Braga.

Former Edo Queens star was part of Super Falcons squad to the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, she was on target against Burundi in a Group C match and was also involved in the third place playoff versus Zambia.

Efih has been handed jersey number 25 ahead of her Sporting Braga debut against CA Ouriense next Sunday.
