Ten Hag becomes the first Dutchman to receive the award since Ronald Koeman in January 2016 and no Manchester United manager has taken it since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in January 2019, nearly four years ago.
Rashford reclaimed the Player of the Month award he last won back in January 2019 after setting up Jadon Sancho in a 1-0 win over Foxes and scoring twice in a 3-1 triumph against Arsenal at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag guided Manchester United to victory over Leicester City at King Power Stadium and Arsenal side that had been on their impressive winning streak in September.
Christian Eriksen was voted the club’s September player of the month by supporters.
Ten Hag and his players will start October with their toughest test of the season yet, heading east across the city for a Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium.
