Two former Premier League players missing Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale as Carlo Ancelotti names the Real Madrid squad for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final with Manchester City on Wednesday night.
Belgium’s skipper was not included for the encounter against Premier League leaders after recently undergoing a minor leg operation.
Bale will again not be involved after he suffered a back problem during the Real Madrid La Liga title celebration over the weekend.

David Alaba was supposed to be another notable absentee but the Nigerian descent made the cut despite having a hamstring issue.
Mariano Diaz and Luka Jovic have both recently been on the sidelines with issues, but the pair are named in the squad and will provide back-up for Karim Benzema in the final third of the field.

Ancelotti is focusing on winning Real Madrid their 14 Champions League title he has to cross Manchester City and Liverpool to achieve that.
