The United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) will lock horns against the Super Falcons of Nigeria in a double duel friendly match that will be held in the United State of America on the 3rd of September at the Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas while the second clash will take place on the 6th t the Audi Field in Washington D.C.

The super falcons remained CAF’s most successful female team and will be pitched against FIFA’s most successful female team in September.

The USWNT remained the most successful team in the FIFA Women’s World Cup, having won half four of the eight championships competed for so far, having won the first edition in 1991, hosted and won in 1999 and The Stars & Stripes were champions in Canada in 2015 and reclaimed the title in France 2019, they have four Olympic gold medals to their name and CONCACAF titles.

The USA has already qualified for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, becoming the 12th team to reach the finals and the first team from the CONCACAF region

The Super Falcons have won the African championship nine times and have participated in every edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup for female Olympic football they qualified for 2000, 2004, and 2008 editions of the tournament.

Nigeria’s Falcons are also coached by an American, long-time college coach Randy Waldrum has help side to clinch FIFA Women’s World Cup ticket after winning bronze medal in Morocco.
