Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde’s form has ensured that manager Carlo Ancelotti’s coaching certificates are intact, the Uruguayan scored Los Blancos’ second goal in the 2-1 win against Atletico Madrid to ensure the Bernabeu outfit maintains their perfect start to the season.

Ancelloti joked during one of the press conferences that he has told Valverde that he would rip up his coaching badges if the Uruguayan did not score at least 10 goals this season.

The 24-year-old has been in the form of his life having scored three goals in the last three games so far with the latest coming in the 2-1 win against local rivals Atletico Madrid at the Civitas Metropolitano on Sunday in the La Liga.

Valverde has now taken his tally to four goals in just six games in the La Liga and if he keeps on at this rate the Italian boss would have his certificates to himself.

Valverde was awarded the Charrua de Oro prize for the best Uruguayan sportsperson by the Circle of Uruguayan Sports Journalists.

His significance has risen for Real Madrid, he laid the assist to Vinicius to score the only goal in the Champions League final against Liverpool.
