18 Super Eagles players had their first training session in Constantine on Monday ahead of the friendlies against the Desert Foxes of Algeria.

The vice-captain of the team led by William Troost-Ekong lead in the three-time African Champions took part in the practice session at the Mohamed Maloiul Stadium Constantine.

Along with Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina, Moses Simon, Kenneth Omeruo, Chidozie Awaziem, Zaidu Sanusi, Cyriel Dessers, Frank Onyeka, and Terem Moffi.

Kevin Akpoguma, Taiwo Awoniyi, Chidera Ejuke, Valentine Ozornwafor, and Maduka Okoye return to the national team setup, while Raphael Onyedika earned his first call-up for international duty.

However, Ademola Lookman, Francis Uzoho, Kelechi Iheanacho Adeleye Adebayo, Ebube Duru, and Godwin Saviour.

The Super Eagles will take on Algeria’s home-based team in the first friendly at the Mohamed Maloiul Stadium, Constantine on Friday.

The second friendly is billed for the Miloud Hadefi Stadium, Oran next week Tuesday.
