It was a tight game in Wales but thanks to a 1-0 win for Poland who avoided relegation through a lone goal from Karol Swiderski in the 58th minute of the clash to send Wales to relegation.

Robert Lewandowski created space for himself in the box and connects with the resulting free kick. His header would have probably ended up low in the middle of the goal, but Wayne Hennessey pulled off a superb reflex save to thwart him in the 25th minute of the clash.

Daniel James broke out with the ball towards the keeper and pulled the trigger from close range, but Wojciech Szczesny anticipates his intention and makes an amazing save to stop the shot from going low into the middle of the target.

Robert Lewandowski manages to prod the ball to Karol Swiderski after a melee inside the box, and he needs no second invitation to slot the ball into the bottom right corner to give the Polish the lead.

Brennan Johnson made a solo run with the ball inside the box, he smashed it towards the bottom left corner. It was a great effort but an even better save from Szczesny, who tipped the ball around the post.

Gareth Bale had a good opportunity when he latched on to a cross from the wing, but his header from the six-yard box wasn’t accurate enough and the ball glanced away off the bar.
The clash ended 1-0 in favour of the Polish team.
