Patrick Vieira has heaped praise on Super Eagles target Eberechi Eze after his magical skill when Crystal Palace beat Montpellier at Selhurst Park over the weekend.
The 24-year-old Nigerian attacking midfielder joined the Premier League side for around £17 million from Sky Bet Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers after penning a five contract.
Eze has been in scintillating form for the Eagles after he was one of the standout performers for the Eagles in their final pre-season game.
Former Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard find the back of the net twice, while Ivory Coast forward Wilfried Zaha and English defender Marc Guehi ensured Crystal Palace end their pre-season on a high note.
Viera hailed Eze after Crystal Palace’s number 10 magical skill before he provide an assist for Zaha’s first goal by flicking the ball over Montpellier’s player where he started a counter-attack that led to the goal.

French legend told the club official website “It’s about the number of minutes [he plays]. He played a lot of friendly games and is in really good shape. There’s no doubt about his quality.
“He can create goals, he can score goals, and again on the other side – how can we help the team to defend better?”

Eze made 17 appearances last season with only six Premier League after he recovering from a serious Achilles injury that required surgery.
